Sunshine Coast Airport has recorded 10mm of rainfall in just the first 10 days of the month surpassing the total rainfall for September 2017. However, the rainfall recorded in the years 2014, 2015, and 2016 was higher.
It is predicted that in the next few days high-pressure systems in the south of the country would bring showers near the south-east coast of Queensland. However, these showers will fall around Wide Bay and areas to the north instead of Sunshine Coast.
In the next few days, Wednesday will be sunny with 13C low overnight and daytime temperature reaching 24C. As per the weather predictions, Wednesday is the best day of the week for going off-shore.
Thursday will be partly cloudy at a minimum of 11C and maximum of 25C. Friday is expected to see a maximum of 26C and a minimum of 11C.
The weekend on Sunshine coast will be mostly sunny with a maximum temperature of 25C on both Saturday and Sunday.
